Which government forms does scontract produce? +
The standard set of government forms used in interim claims and progress reporting, including the claim cover documents, supporting forms, and the contract ledger, with more added as contracts require them.
Where do the figures in my documents come from? +
From your contract record inside scontract. Calculations run there once, and every document renders the value that is already correct. The templates themselves do no maths.
Can I import my Bill of Quantities? +
Yes. A priced cascade export carries the full five-level hierarchy, from topic to line item, straight into claim pages without rekeying.
Will printed documents match the official format? +
Every page is laid out for A4, so the printed output matches the screen and the scanned standard your reviewer compares against.
Is the interface in English? +
Yes. The interface and the report content are in English throughout. Where a form carries an official Malay title, that title is reproduced exactly as it appears on the standard.

Ownership
The scontract application, including its source code, interface design, layout, and all original artwork, is the property of AL AFDAL CAHAYA SDN BHD. It is protected by copyright and may not be copied, redistributed, or reverse engineered without written permission.
Permitted use
Access is granted to named contractors and their staff for the purpose of administering their own construction contracts. Accounts and access credentials are for the registered party only and should not be shared.
Government forms
Note on official documents. The government forms reproduced by scontract follow formats set by the relevant Malaysian government authorities. scontract reproduces these layouts so your submissions meet the required standard. Ownership of the underlying form formats remains with their issuing authorities. scontract claims no rights over them.
Your data
Contract particulars, quantities, claim figures, and the documents you generate remain yours. We process them only to provide the service and never resell them.
Trademarks
scontract is a product of AL AFDAL CAHAYA SDN BHD, and the scontract mark is used to identify this software. References to government forms and standards are for descriptive purposes only and do not imply endorsement by any authority.

Who we are
scontract is operated by AL AFDAL CAHAYA SDN BHD. This notice explains how we handle personal data when you use the application, in line with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 of Malaysia.
What we collect
We collect the details you provide when an account is set up, such as your name, work email, and role. We also hold the contract and project information you enter into the workspace, including contract particulars, quantities, claim figures, correspondence, and the documents you generate. To keep the service reliable we record limited technical data such as sign-in times, device and browser type, and basic usage activity.
How we use it
We use your information to give you access to the workspace, to generate your documents, to keep the service secure, and to provide support when you ask for it. We use technical and usage data to diagnose problems and improve how the application performs.
We do not sell your data. Your contract particulars, project records, and generated documents are never sold, rented, or shared for advertising. They are processed only to provide scontract to you.
When we share
We share information only where it is needed to run the service, for example with trusted providers who host or maintain the application on our behalf, and only under agreements that require them to protect it. We may disclose data where the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our users. We do not transfer your data to third parties for their own purposes.
Storage and security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access. Access to project data is limited to the registered party and to staff who need it to support the service.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as your account is active and for as long as needed to provide the service. When data is no longer required, we remove it or render it anonymous, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
Your rights
Under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 you may ask to access the personal data we hold about you, request a correction where it is inaccurate, and withdraw consent to certain processing. To make a request, write to the contact below and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Cookies
The application uses only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to keep the service working. We do not use advertising or third party tracking cookies.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice from time to time. When we make a material change, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, let you know in the application.
